I've finally got round to adding some images to this strip of eco-dyed paper. The painted orchid paper cast and the folded strip of dyed paper just happened to be adjacent on my cluttered desk. They seemed to go well together and so this small booklet was conceived.
The paper casts are made from my own lino cuts, sealed with gesso, painted with watercolour plus some added coloured pen and gold acrylic. One side of the paper had no distinct leaf prints on it so I was quite happy to cover it with the images. The detail of the reverse of the book clearly shows the imprint of the grape hyacinths included in the dyeing process.
